The popularity index adds overlapping memberships for tracked systems in each family; it does not count unique people, active players or sales. Classifications describe game families and community associations. They are not a popularity ranking, an eligibility list or a count of unique players.
Each download identifies its exact version and includes its schema, source provenance and licence. Original project data is dedicated under CC0 1.0 Universal; third-party sources retain their own rights.
